App v client checking for updates

Sign in to vote. On first launch of any of the virtualized Remote Apps the App-V client takes up to 30 seconds during the "Checking for updates" phase. Subsequent launches of the same app or another virtualized app only "check for updates" a second or again up to 30 seconds.
We never observe this lag on Windows 7 clients with exactly the same App-V infratructures and the same apps. Anyone have any ideas why "Checking for update" takes so long on Terminal Servers? Is it possible to fix this issue?

Therefore Microsoft App-V is dead. Therefore, I would not recommend to organizations to invest in Microsoft App-V anymore. In it will be the time to prepare for adoption and transition to MSIX as the new standard for application virtualization, isolation and deployment.
