Downloads in tab firefox addon

This thread was archived. Please ask a new question if you need help. Currently it always opens as a separate window, as part of Library - together with History, Tags? I don't quite understand why Downloads is a part of Library. I would think Library stores permanent-ish items, wheras downloads the items in the list, not the files are disposable once complete. Anyway, I have seen older I think? But how do I achieve this in the latest mainstream version?

That's almost right. Otherwise you need to use a bookmark or open the page otherwise see about:about. I have done the bookmark thing and i am happy with the sidebar downloads. Is there a way to get the Download Tab behaviour from Private Browsing the default during normal sessions?
